Went watching bangers last weekend at buxton raceway,In bangers your meant to push towards the wall then pull away but this guy kept his foot down happens about 1 min in,guys head was touching steering wheel smashes his visor and broke nose was very very lucky to walk away!! car that pushed him was a granny and other was a volvo number 999

that really was hell of a smack and to come out alive without broken arms n legs is a serious result. i`l never forget seeing a guy getting cut out of a mk2 escort when i was 7or 8 down at matchams raceway in ringwood after a very similar acident and before i was born my dad done banger racing for totton service station and he nearly had his neck broken after a nasty crash and he gave up soon after that.

some people simply go out there to hurt others and dont give a fuck about the racing

this is why i stoped racing at Arena essex...them walls + some dangerous prick = serious injury....Henham was alot slower and less cars but at least a bit safer

That guy was lucky to get out of that with such light injuries I used to watch banger racing and saw someone going the wrong direction for a head on crash at Standlake, a big fight broke out after that I used to want a go but there are too many nutters out there.

H frames, serve to prop the roof up in event of a roll over, pretty much it infact if you look at the wreck, the area behind the drivers seat has remaind pretty much striaght,.. adding extra bars would raise more cause for concern in the event of a serve inpact given the movement and reshaping a shell takes from constant contact.. infact its testimant to how the car is prep'd as most if not all dangerous, moveable items are stripped or reloctaed as per (incarace rules).. Is buxton incararce or speedworth reg'd?.. It would appear its Stinkbridge showboating at its best..

There is a big chat about this on ovalbangerchat.

It was built to national reg's but his steam tank was only ratchet strapped in hence it coming over the bulkhead and breaking his nose! And yes it was Team Stinkbridge.

I do banger racing but not brave enough for unlimiteds, jags, limos's etc....

Im doing bangers at ipswich august 7th, atleast you know you'll be ok to go to work on monday morning not like those other nutters!
