Yep, unless I didn't make it clear enough, the point of the video was to FOLLOW Lee, not rape his car or him 
, nor pass him and leave him for dead. I was filming him for a lap 
Hard to see, but at the start of the vid there is a Red car further ahead of us pissing off into the distance - that's my brother's 380 bhp Evo which we don't see again. Lee and I were lapping at I guess low 9 high 8 mins, my brother and I run 8.15s or less with an empty track so you can see we were well off full pace.
Due to the already mentioned tyre issues, Lee couldn't go full speed in the bends or on the brakes. I hope he was flat on it on the straights, certainly sounded like it!
Sorry the mic on the camera was so pants

Sorry, was disappointed myself, sounded great to my ears. Then played it back after and realised the camcorder mic is poo.

Well spotted, some short shifting and off throttle bits where I would normally be on it. 590 bhp is more than 490 bhp after all!
I like to think so 
If Lee was able to push hard I think it would have been a decent race. As it turned out it was easy to follow Lee with the handicapped tyre issue!

looks like fun,and thats what its all about.
the porsche looked like he was on the move! but as always if its a local they could be in a 16v golf passing you but with abt 1500 laps under there belt the worste mistake you could make is getting a complex.

Dude.... I was trying you plank. We had radio on and was waving to crowd and trying to get si to come alongside.
Can I see the video of you driving your Ferrari around the ring with a part worn 50 year old part worn left front tyre that you bought in some back street garage in some part of bum fuck Belgium at 7pm pls?
We can compare
Evo driving superb? that's even funnier! Si can drive about 3 mins a lap faster than he did in this clip iif he wanted
So yes... Awesome driving in that vid...

Just did a search for Ring posts by me, and found this one.
Might just bump it just to see who else lays into the pony Ferrari
Please read the info in this post and the description on the video - this was not a race, Porkie couldn't drive at even 70% due to the duff tyres so just watch a very nice car going for a brisk drive at the Ring.

Never met Lee but I can imagine he was throwing a few fucks about when he realised the handling was screwed by a naff tyre, I know I would have been.
Watching the rest of your vids on you tube I think I can safely say you know how to pedal that old mitsi of yours , great stuff Si.
