my new track car!!
here is my new track car in the making..ive decided to use a puegeot 106 gti...so saturday me and danneth set off from sheffield to durham on the train to go look at a 106 gti with 3 owners from new with 81k oj the clock...so we drove it home all in standard trim..ready for trying to make a track car so here is some of my progress so far.
fitted.
1.8.16v stroker kit on injected throttlebodies, 708 cams and lighthened bottom end.
uprated gearbox and clutch b&m quick shift
uprated ecu
mocal oil cooler
pugsport manifold and full stainless system
poly bushed and sitting lowered on spax spring and shocks.
parts awaiting fitting.
rollcage
lamex windows
bucketseats and harrnesses
vibra technik engine and box mounts
team dynamic motorsport 16" wheels
taking old engine out
new engine fitted
started stripping trim today

well took the dash out today to start and fit rollcage..what a fecking nightmare but got there in the end just got to wait till monday now for the welder and then i can finish it off.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Love it, i had a indigo blue GTi stripped out etc few years ago, with pugsport exhaust, filters and cammed, was a hoot to drive, you'll love upsetting some much bigger cars on track.

update... cage is nearly done just requires a few more hours...and heat wrapped the manifold and fitted the mocal cooler and had my rocker cover powder coated a bizarre colour for free......here`s a few pics.
