Angry pictures after my big 3 hour neck operation! NERVE PAIN! MORE SURGERY BOTTOM OF PAGE

hopefully im on the way to recovery after suffering with the WORST nerve pain down my inner right arm and seriously bad blood flow to the hand as it was always stone cold! been suffering for 8 years now and its a condition that does not show up on any MRI scans! its taken years to diagnose after seeing many consultants! i gave up with the waiting time on the NHS and paid Ł3000 self funding to speed the process up! its called thoracic outlet syndrome, there are 2 types of this, neorogenic (nerves) and vascular (blood) flow, i had both types in my right arm

every main nerve in my arm, ulnar, radial and medial was affected. im partially paralised in the hand and half my arm is numb with no feeling at all

its a seriously rare condition to have, trust me to have it! so i had a 3 hour operation 5 days ago on my lower neck (brachial plexus) to try and cure this! ive got a few months to wait to see if its worked! ive also got to have the left side of my neck done as i have vascular thoracic outlet sydrome starting there, GREAT!!!

removed fibrous bands (tissue) from the spinal cord (c7) that join to my first rib, they were severly bridging my nerves and blood artery giving me disgusting shooting pain all down my inner arm to my hand, also stone cold hands as no blood was flowing well. not everyone has fibrous bands just something extra ive been born with, every 1 in a million people suffers with this as its so rare.

benni - still numb on the right side from first operation but as they touch the nerves healing takes up to 2-3 years.

what was the cause of it in the first place?

and i think dave yum had a neck op a while back where they put some carbon fibre in his neck, might be the best person to relate to in the "real world" sense of things
