thanks mate, it'll be the screamer pipe that you could hear also my turbo-manifold bolts were gradually getting looser as the day went on which was adding to the noise, and typically i didn't bring the right tool for the job so just had to carry on and hope it held together!

Also I had loads of tools with me mate, as I'm sure plenty of other people did, should have asked! Car sounds the nuts in the video

i thought about going on the scrounge for tools but didn't really know anyone there.

You have a impressive spec there personally I don't like big turbos you can see by the vid once I get the tyres warm the car gets faster & faster as being rear wheel drive if I go too fast to quick Id be on the grass. The spec of mine is GT28 turbo 64ar turbine T34 compressor on a 4x4 ex manifold, ST ecos inlet Kent cams 'Ahmed' +verniers, engine was built & mapped by HT Racing the head is ported, winged sump,wossner pistons std compression,Seimans inj,wasted spark,Motec ecu, Rs 500 cooler= 350bhp on the bench dyno. I have also moved the engine back 2" inc the rad etc adj tca's, Gaz coilovers 2 1/4 springs 700 front 300 back, 18x8 wheels, 360mm front brakes plus lots of other mods next on the to do list is the rear beam move the front points up (to stop the squat & lift under braking & compression strut +arb at the front,& then lower the car more.

Ian, sounds like you've got your car pretty well sorted. it certainly goes well, and is very quick out of the corners! i think my next move for the escort is to shed some weight out of it as it's still in full road trim and felt a tad heavy. i also managed to cook the front and rear brakes trying to stop the thing. but also toying with the idea of a mk6 fiesta 4x4 cossie conversion now so may even strip it for bits.

unfortunately my camera did switch off before we had that little bout, which is a real shame coz it would've been very entertaining, we were getting quicker and quicker with each lap and towards the end you were getting the arse end out in your fiesta on nearly every corner! very brave!! also i nearly lost it a few times! so it woould've been a good one that.

Yeah i was really trying towards the end of the day! 60 dead by all accounts so can't grumble!
My car wasn't going any faster than that on those Toyo PX4's, they're useless!!!
Will have to give R888's a try like everyone else next time!
I've seen your other vids and it looks like your car can be a real handful at times!

will look sweet in carbon mate, i may have a vid with u in, im not sure though, ill have a look , wouldnt mind a 3door myself, the s1 is here to stay though, new engine in build so should be a bit quicker in the new year, more power i must be mad ha ha
