yes matey iv seen it i sorted that group buy for the nodiz kit. had a few probs but we got there in the end.

That's cool, how much we're the kits and gather easy to fit? I've never heard of that brand before

 

its a brand new product developed by a tuning company, i got to know the guy who runs the place and sorted us the group buy, leave it with me and ill get you the exact figures, getting easier to fit etc as with it being new were like the guinea pigs so a few teething probs.

 

Still thinking about doing the turbo clio for a laugh so would be another thing to add to a long list lol

 

have you seen chips clio turbo on here, makes a tad over 300bhp and is a real track weapon, defo worth having a word with him

It was a stupid joke that got taken the wrong way by a person I thought knew what I was like. good news a couple more jobs have been done on my car

braided brake hoses are now fitted
cupro nickel brake lines are now fitted

bad news iv had to get 2 new front brake calipers but got them for Ł55 each which i thought is not a bad price.

had a good morning on the car today, got most of the bits back together, turbo,carb and related bits,manifold/downpipe etc etc only a couple of bits left to connect back up then its time to prime the turbo and fire her up
i bloody forgot take a picture of the engine after all things were back in place

not running the nodiz fella, gotta get alot of extras etc to get it up and running so iv decided to put it on hold until the end of this year when ill be adding a few diff things to the spec of engine

 

fingers crossed going get a few more hours in on the car this weds, and might even have it fired up
just hoping when it goes in for paint its not there for ages as id love have it ready before end of may

my car is now back alive and running sweet as a nut i can now start to see the light at end of the tunnel

popped around the garage on my way between jobs today, drivers door is now fitted, i also started the car and my god it sounds so much better back on the oe manifold, must say the longlife 2.5" system sounds sweet.

just waiting on hearing back from the painter now as to when he can get my car in fingers crossed its asap

glad its coming together, will be nice once you have it back from paint so you can enjoy it.

had a quick look at my hyundai getz today as the exhaust has ben blowing for ages from the front, what we found was there is no obvious sign of a blow ( soot etc ) but the flexi is so easy to stretch so i would say its that. if it had been the exhaust manifold then it would of been a issue as its the manifold and cat all in one and would cost Ł160 but this bit of pipe for a new one is about Ł30 and from man/cat bk its about Ł120 so might do the rest of the system as its looking scabby. After that its the front top mounts, service and a good clean but that can wait till after snetterton on the 27th.

result on the exhaust matey, my lady just had to renew the manifold on her w reg seat ibiza, much better now tho
