petey - the sub is an Ascendant Audio Mayhem 2.5kwrms item...RRP is around £440ish, then amp, around £500-600ish, then battery power (which is the main thing at this power level) depeds how deep your pockets are...then you need the mids to keep up, oh and a decent sub box...and cabling etc etc...the costs soon mount up

However, you would be suprised at how well and loud a properly setup system goes...the other polo's with the 2 sub setups are the same as what Sunny runs in his golf...2 AA Chaos 12's (around £220 per sub) + amp (£250ish) + box. Or go for one of the subs that are in my focus AA Havoc £270, + amp £250ish) + box...and you wont be too far off what the 2 12's do...many ways around it...its just a matter of getting the best for your money!
