What's the story with the 4i? You restored it... you keeping it... what's the spec?

 

now i recognise the place, i came to yours 2 year ago or so to pick up a 16i rocker cover

 

xr2 looks the bollox mate

 

AJC yes you did come and get a 1600i rocker cover, the 4i was bought from a guy up in Kendal, its done a genuine 68,000 miles, i've had it restored. it only needed a rear arch and a small section of inner sill.

the only time i've driven it since i bought it in Feb 2007 was to get it home, and its been a very slow project since then.

Its still running the v6 engine. the cossie wheels are a brand new set that i bought for my 3dr cossie, but decided to stick with the original wheels.

the grill and bumper are genuine and it has a 3dr cosworth interior.

its one of those projects that because its not at my house i lose interest then gain some every now and again.

hopefully when my house sells i'll be able to have all my cars in one location and hopefully get them finished!!

the engine bay is still dusty from the respray from nearly 2 years ago, i must pull my finger out

 

I do love a nice tidy XR4i mate and this is a very nice looking 4i.

 

there getting very rare in good nic now, so hopefully there value will go up
