Straightliners once again returned to Kirkbride Airfield for there 1/4 Mile Drag Day
And having not taken the chance last time round to run the Kit Car i thought hell why not i'll take the Cossie & me to its first ever 1/4 Drag Strip.
And being the only Cossie to run over the entire weekend it was even more enjoyable![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
These are some Vids and picture of the saturday (mainly biased toward my cossie of course)
this was my first ever 1/4 Drag i've ever done i drove there & back home again did 30+ runs and the old girl never missed a beat![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)

Simple had the car checked over pulled upto the line and ran, no messing with tyre pressures or fancy tyres
My best time was 13.19 and my mate in my car was a 13.09
neither of us Launched the car hard, didn't want any broken Diff's LOL
Was a enjoyable weekend and Local too which is nice, i hear that they are planning 4 dates next yr so can't wait to get back at it again![Clap](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/9c-clap.gif)
When i left on Sat i was running 6th over all and only 0.07 secs seperated 4th, 5th & 6th

should've made ya dad use it some more, i've put 2000+ miles on it since getting it off ya
it still put s smile on my face everythime i'm out in it
Its now on all new suspension (Koni's & Ahmed springs), new Brakes on the rear, new radiator (intercooler & turbo cooler next month) all the gauges wired in, and all the tat taken off the dash and binned, new stereo and speakers, engine has had full check over, sensors changed etc and runs sweet 30+ runs on Sat and not 1 issues (no more leaking rocker cover gasket, and oil breather) and new rebuilt rear diff thats the last time i test the launch control lol!
Still unsure on Wheels, got my eyes on some 18" 6spoke Comps![Clap](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/9c-clap.gif)
Car runs like a dream now and handles & stops like it should![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
If i still have it this winter she'll be having new Turbo T38, Gripper Diff, Gearbox Re-build and some odd paint work done, Rouse Spoiler & Side Skirts.
It would feel like a different car if ya got in it now
