The second one and the inlet look fantastic ,the insert looks like the painted carbon to me

Dam you, you pay far to much attention lol
the insert is actually plastic, i used it to make the templte before i commited and cut the shinny new sheet of carbon up, problem was it fit so well and comes level with the machined writin i thought fook it no point usin the carbon

no ive removed the original ht lead holes
simply so i can run a carbon insert, and hide the ht leads,
nothing to do with performance its all about cosmetics

I'd have removed all of the material then...
Saw a Cosworth cam cover with Bremi single coils (out of a BMW iirc)... looked good. Tried to fit some of them to my CVH but they're too big...

If i was to butcher up another cam cover i would take the bars out but as it was trial and error i left them in for strenght,
to run single coil packs it would b a change in management,
