Default Pics of my E30 at last

Got rid of my ERST a fair while ago as I missed having RWD and also wanted something that wasn't going to eat up all my money like the escort and capri had been doing since I passed my test nearly 5 years ago! Went down the route of BMW and found a lovely tech1 e30 sport!
This is what it was like when i bought it...

Then I bought some new wheels, once belonging to Pf member i believe, but off someone else in Bradford. Took a while to get these on as one of the wings was fitted badly as the front wheel stuck out from the arch far too far, however, eventually I had arches rolled and wing adjusted and now have them on, think it looks nice and aggressive!

nice tech1, i prefer tech2's personally but you really think a tech1s going to be easier on your pocket than an escort or capri?
have you joined up on www.e30zone.net ?

Yep been on there for ages. And yup I do, the E30 has cost me nothing but service parts for the service i did and i've had it nearly 6 months and it hasn't even skipped a beat once. My escort and capri cost me thousands, I worked it out once, both needed rebuilds in their lifetimes, both needed new brakes as some point, I barely went a week without having to fix the escort!

The reg of the white one looks familiar, F44 FNA. It's not from the North Yorkshire area is it? Or has it been mag featured?

I love E30's!
My mates got a 320i 4 door that he paid Ł225 for, it has had soooo much grief and still runs perfect, even after doing a whole 12 car rally on 5 cyclinders with a snapped rocker arm floating about the top end!

the usual engine and gearbox mounts, custom prop, cut and reshape the front chassis legs to get the rad and cooler in and a custom alloy sump modelled around the steering rack and subframe . clearance around the brake servo is tight so possibly a remote servo fitted in future or a pedal box.

Yer it is a silly irish plate. Wish I could afford to lower it more too. Wheels are Rota Grid Drift 16x8. You'll need PCD adapters though!

yeah if driving like ms daisy and using 1/4 throttle lol.
if your giving it some youd be lucky to see 10-12mpg and considering they aint that fast it aint the best.still very good cars and i love them to bits thats just my opinion on them.think if i ever get another it will have to have an m3 engine
