MY 1998 Punto GT Turbo
Ive never really introduced my car on here, so I thought I'd share a few pics with you all:
Engine:
1372cc
IHI VL5/7 turbo
Custom exhaust, decat, straight through to single rear silencer
Dawes device set at 1.2 bar
K&N induction kit
Saab 900 Viggen cross flow FMIC
Bailey DV26
SEB2 Fuel map
Circa 175bhp
Exterior:
Yellow callipers
Morettes
-60mm drop
Debadged bonnet
Colour Coded badge at rear
Interior:
Impreza seats
Boost gauge
Plasma dials
Electronic bits:
Nokia CARK112 integrated bluetooth kit
Full closure kit
Turbo timer
Standard RCL / Immmobiliser
Im not into bling under the hood:
Interior:
Where the boy sits
And the itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny turbo blowing it along:
Oh, and the badge that took HOURS doing with a tiny brush :S

A lad i used to know used to have 1 of these.I can remember chasing a wrx impreza in it and the imperza wasnt pulling away from us in the punto.There is something about these that i like.My mates used to have a cone filter on and when the rad fan kicked in the engine used to struggle to idle properly.

Driven my mates gt turbo and do have to say they are nice cars to drive but it didn’t look as good as yours, by the way like the twin head lights suits the car very well.

had two of these badboy's, one running 172 bhp and one was gt25 runnign1.6 bar pose to have over 200 bhp
they good when there workig but when it come's to changing the turbo it's a different story, inlet mani has to come of first and there is one bolt by the p/s pump which is a nightmare

I sometimes take a gander on the punto turbo forums and always hear them talking about "SEB", what is that if you can tell me, always wonderd
And those forums are so funny somtimes, dont know maybe some of the users are younger lads, but every post on it is "My car humped this and that" and when ever there is a post about some guy thinking of buying car "X" just about every cunt jumps in and says the punto will kill that shite ect ect

why does it have impreza wrx seatsappart from that looks good few of my mates have had them nippy wee thingsone of mates mate sold a gt3 one with the abarth kit nicely tuned same colour for £500 pound think he ripped himself offand it was minty mint
