I do love the rondells. Can't afford any at the minute, having just bought the car..altho I do think they look awesome. I do have 2 options at the minute tho, keep the originals wheels on to keep it totally standard exterior wise inc the orange indicators (bar the lowering springs) or am gonna fit my graphite TSW wheels which have been taken off my S2 (as it now has a set of standard dog-legs fitted for the sale). Pic of the wheels below in my signature: but am unsure which to keep/put on.

I've got the issue of performance ford when D911 WPC was featured in it was a very mint car n had purple samcos in the bay and voodoos

 

also got shawns D plater in the back for sale as well january 1999 issue of performance ford back then it had 82k all mots and receipts and a vecta immob was up for 4600 hope this is some interesting info for ya all

I kinda know the bloke with the Rondells, that car is mint to be fair, he has got anodised blue blue handles & under the bonnet everything is anodised or chrome, but he did do that project a good couple of years ago.

Its got a 1.9 tall block, i've never been in it but it suppose to shift.

Really nice car though, i heard it was for sale, but 9K?????

I have an update on a NEW OWNER of one of these cars already featured (not mine btw)

They are a well known person in the right places. I met them (him or her..not telling) at the weekend and we had a chat. They seem cool and intend to keep it looking as good as it does now & doesn't want to change it too much: which can only be good news.

They have a link to this thread now & I'll leave it up to them to reply and to introduce themselves.

 

After that I couldn't not post. I'm now the owner of D307 HKR and she's sitting pretty in my garage getting a liberal dose of polish. Working for Max Power it's maybe not the sort of car you'd expect to see in the Staff Car section but she'll make at least one appearance. I swapped it for my Cossie and she has no history (although have been told mileage is around 93k) and a few things that need doing - proper fitting parcel shelf, front skirt rivoted back on properly using Ford rivots rather than the tiny ones that were used a headunit and speakers to fill the holes and some shiny bits under the bonnet. Apart from that the body and interior are all quite mint, only very slight surface rust around the battery tray but very simple to sort. Not sure how long I'll keep her as I'd really like to modify an RS Turbo S1 or S2 but it seems kind of naughty doing anything to change one of these D-platers too much. Millsy.

Yeah, seen that one John - lives near to me - been banged down one side, looks pretty rusty all over too now.

A real shame, I saw it when he first bought it and commented on the plate and that it was nice - told him to "look after it" - guess he didn't listen!

 

yep wot do u wanna know mate i know it now has an rs500 intercooler and t34 and 17" voodoos and was rolling roaded at about 240bhp at frankenstein motorsport
