My Focus ST170 Story So far
Lets start with a story ....
I got my ST170 in 2006 a month after my 21st birthday ... i have done several changes to my car like tinted lights, St badges in odd places, m6 ring etc ... i have had it completley standard for some months and so tacky other months.
Since about March this year i realised i wanted a nice looking car with it not looking like i had drove through halfords - probaley summat to do with FITP, Ford Fair, BlackPool Ford Day!
How the car started last March - sorta back to standard with a clean and viper induction kit and a small ST Stripe on the bonnett ..
I bought the RS interior and fitted that - i bought the backs and the fronts seperate though ... Love EBAY!
Then came the RS wheels as i love them nearly as much as monte's!
The car stayed as it was above other than a miltek exhaust whilst i saved - inside was nice but i wanted to sort the outside and realised more money was needed ...
Anyway... I was in a hurry and decieded to go through Sainburys car wash, bad mistake!!! the car wash ripped my spolier off the day before the blackpool show this year which was a nightmare as i was showing with FordSport for the first time.
However it has turned out better than i expected. I got chattin to a guy called Dave(He owns a RED ST3 License Plate C11 DJB) with an ST and he said bring it to my work and have a chat with Simon at Ultimate-Showcars in Stockport.
A few weeks later and me, simon and dave had a few ideas for the car ... my car went last week for a weeks worth of work ... sainsburys paid for the rental car which was a VOLVO S40 which was lovely and also paid for the spolier of course. Now to a normal person that would be ace but i thought i would get some other bits done aswell ...
So here we have it ...
Gloss Black Wheels,
ST Stripe over the top,
Black Sunstrip,
St Stripe down the side with FORD Focus in them,
Dents, Dings etc removed,
ST - Style vents on the side,
Painted Black Scuttle Panel,
Cleaned and Stripped the brakes to make them shiner and nice under my new wheels,
Tightened Clutch and HandBrake ...
Its Dark at the moment and my camera phone cant take good pictures but i am sure Dave/Simon will add pictures on and of the work being done.
I now have more plans and ideas but i will do these next march !!!
I wont hesitate to tell anyone to go there as they are so professional and understand cars and will be honest with you.
what can i say about Ultimate ShowCars in StockPort ....

will get some better pictures tomorrow at work, need to do a few more changes in march then i can concentrate on making it quicker .. hopefully the s/charger will be ok then if not guess its gotta be duratec turbo!

yeah i remeber mate ... i have a few more ideas and i will ask ya about another p/shop when i get better pictures!
The Pictures that dave and simon took from Ultimate Showcars ...
the rental car i had for a week .. VOLVO S40 ... i miss the Turbo woosh tho lol

mirror covers off
wheels when they got back ..
Brakes before
Brakes After and they did this as they hated the tacky blue - LOOKS so much better now guys, thanks for showing me the Light
wheel with nice and clean brakes
wheels on ...
spolier on ... on the tuesday i picked it up
a few touches and a badge i am proud to drive around with ...
Outside Ultimate Showcars when i picked her up
Can i also say that the car was properly valeted aswell ... i didnt expect a few things done like this but it looks like its been clayed to...
I will get pictures when the weather is better on Sunday hopefully!

I seen you the other week in Blackpool at that Colin Mcrae thing, i was walking along the front and you were stuck in the traffic, i was gonna shout abuse at you but it was to cold 
it looked good then though but deffo looks better now with black rims etc, its different 
....
Dave at Ultimate Showcars is a top bloke too, deffo recommend them. I used them recently and recieved fantastic service

is that any good ... few old photos when i put a showcage in.
doorcards dont match yet as i have a 5dr but i will sort that early next year but i keep forgetin lol

I like it, mostly. I don't like the stickers behind the side repeaters, I think from a distance they look really odd. And I don't really like the bonnet stripe. I think with just the side stripes this would probably be one of the nicest looking standard-ish STs I've seen.

coilovers lol - i have a better idea ... but i will wait and see
as suppose the stickers are to everyones liking but i do love them, they are so much better when you see the car in the flesh rather than via pictures ..
