thats the only engine photo i managed to take because the guy had to hold the bonnet open.

I should really of taken the camera off of the tripod and snapped more thinking about it now.

The way the intercooler is mounted i imagine.

Im guessing the bonnet has a vent on the front edge to let a bit of air get through the cooler?

They look great mounted that way....Some of the drift champ teams run their coolers that way...and in JGTC iirc.

Not really no - thought it might be worth posting the picture for others who take interest in drift cars that. It was the first time i'd seen one in the flesh admittedly.

Was out skiding with the skyline on Sunday. Think there mounted like that for damage control and better low speed air flow. One downside is the amount of ducting thats needed.

yes its basically V Mount Intercooler system - being as the piping is shortened, the air flow has been reduced so the throttle response is increased.
