Amazing colours Matt , think the beetle in the 1st is my favourite, nice angle and the green and yellow works a treat with the blule sky. Don't know if I'd be tempted to clone the cars out in the background. Think they'd have been okay if they were dubs but the blue oval is a no no!!

haha, i did consider cloning the cars out, the picture was taken in a car park at the show yesterday (i'm surprised more people from here did not attend, there were loads of beemers in the show ground!) but for an unpaid show picture it just seemed like a bit too much effort. If it was for something special or someone was buying a print then i'd sort it.
Cheers for the comments,
Matt.

the camera cost me Ł4 from a charity shop. Unfortunately the aperture blades are stuck and i may never fix it.
And finally a self portrait, i never make much effort to do these and it's something i'd like very much to be better at.
Comments are very much appreciated.
Regards,
Matt.

Very skillful shots matt , im no portrait man either so cant really comment on the last, looks good to me though bar the highlight on the back of your jaw, flash from behind casting a shadow by your ear??? Still a great style that suits you sir

TDezzy, it looks like you've not captured the full dynamic range of the scene, thats why your skies look washed out and under exposed.
StephenC, more great motorsport shots, you may have said before but what kit do you use? do you sell any of your work? i Really like the wide panning shots the most. if i may, i think that wide one would have benefitted from the bike being a bit further to the right of the frame.

The wider pans are with the trusty 10-20! It looks weird with everyone mounting huge lenses and im stood there with the tiny sigma but I like the results also, I think its better with cars as the bikes look really small in the frame. This was another from the day

Yep, 70-200VR, couldnt believe it myself, guy was selling it on ebay on boxing day, the winner had 0 feedback so I just emailed on the off chance, said Id give him 650 cash in the morning if he has any trouble, he said come down, deal done. I could sell it today and make a few hundred on it, proper chuffed.

i tried it on a high shutter speed but they was comming out way to dark?? i didn't have it on a tripod but had it resting on the window ledge so wasn't actually holding it
