Not bad when a stage 3 cossie can match a piece of modern machinery. Evo was a lot better in the bends but the cossie was pulling on the straights. I was impressed anyway.

Constructive comment..

Good tussle that imo...when you think of the years in between the cars, technology etc..

I do love the way people try and criticise the cossies. Oh look it smokes and at least the evo can drive home. And the cossie only had the edge on the straights. Wow, what an einstein comment that really is . You are putting a 1989 2wd engineered car up against something 15 years newer with 4wd. By rights the cossie should have been done but it wasnt

its a pity the evo couldnt get by the cossie ,we could have had a look at his exhaust.
even if it could have got by in the corners, the cossie would have overtaken him again on the straights
cossie everyday for me

why, because it smoked? other than that the disgraceful camber of the rear wheels tell me it is just like any other cossie.

I agree, plus the fact that if you read the ford cossie manual it states that the engine will use 1l of oil per 1000miles. thats a std engine from new.

Anyway its still not as smokey as Cossierich was at snet.

PMSL at people defending "smoke" comments

The guy has already said his turbo was fucked by the end of the session!!

GREAT effort by the cossie though I would have been proud of that
