And what do you mean re- engine? Yours is an MFi Escort RST engine as it has a metering head, the EFi engines from the fiesta don't have the metering head, and have a different crossover pipe etc..
And this is an EFi Turbo in my old XR2 Turbo
And here's the EFi lump from my previous old XR2 Turbo

if i remember correctly it was approx 150 bhp, had full stainless and -31 actuator so was running a touch more boost. Its not a genuine TT car by the way, the boy we got it from just fancied putting the badge on - i may still have his email address, will pm you if i find it, it was him that did everything to it

Wasn't getting much stopping power so fitted some new drilled and grooved discs with greenstuff pads .. steerings a bit wobbly at high speeds so gonna fit new track ends / bushes / ball joints next then get tracking done.

This is my mates old car, i picked it up from dunfermline with him. This car is wild to say the least!! off the clock within a mile and braking down! really wanted to buy this from him but student life sucks haha. Had a lot of good times within the time he had it. Do you like it?
The engine is something else, but it deserves alot of TLC would go for the efi conversion and go nuts haha
I'M SO JEALOUS!!
haha

Ok... had a major problem after playing with a civic type r lol. This is the result so far, think once the head comes off we will find at least one melted piston by the sounds of things, may be time to just do a full rebuild
started pulling things off
inside head looks clean
few more bits off
spotted a bolt sheared off on the turbo :[
and exhaust gasket was on upside down partially blocking the outlets :O
so turbo out and away to be repaired with new gasket also (no play in the shaft so thats something i suppose)
and one sad looking xr2 turbo
