Yes the sunbeam is our sprint car that ran at TOTB this year. Driven by my brother Paul I may add.

Yep, its a space framed Busa powered "imp lookalike". Bugger that it pipped us by 0.2sec but if it had been the full circuit would have been a different story! We need long straights to really use the power, the little imp is just too nimble round the corners. Cool car though!

Yeah chatted with Paul about it, he thought so too, but the sunbeam still weighs in at 920kg so is relatively heavy weight compared to the imp. Still amateur racing is all about fun, and I'd still rather have the brute power of the Sunbeam over a lighter car. I know you'll agree Daz, there's nothing better than that surge of acceleration that 500+bhp gives!

Spent the saturday there daz,got some good pic,s of your car on track,was a nice day,lack of chaves made it better,did you se the 400 manta on display,hope to get back next year we my 3dr
