Scott its going in to Andy G for a hydraulic clutch so the trip to his and back will only leave me with 200 miles to go, so looking good for going back to ava at the end of the month. Think i also have a fully braced and rose jointed back beam sorted so with that and the compression struts that i have sitting at ava, it should hope be going ,stopping and handling within the next month or so

Remember andy has all the alignment gear too so you could maybe get stuff done at the same time at his to have beam setup etc?
Why do your comps look better/different than most, its the one thing that always stands out?

Martin there 9x18 plus the nito tyres are 245's so fill the arches. It will be going back to andys once it is mapped and has the beam fitted to get a full alignment set up.
Scott no bother hopefully it will be a little faster than the last time.

Well never got the running in finnished before going back to work so will have to do a road trip when i get back to pile the miles on asap. Should be ordering my new turbo this week, so the trip to glasgow to pick it up will help. Hope fully it should have arrived at ava and the secret mods carried out ready for when i get back. That will only leave 3 weeks for mapping and any trouble shooting before the ava rr day

What happened to the WRC kit for the car? I thought that would look excellent in white. That and no tints would look nails imo. Cracking motor all the same fair play to you. Carbon surround looks great.

Still have the wrc wings and back spoiler in the shed wont be fitting them this summer , but might go full wrc style this winter when the front end gets a respray.
Euan i just got some carbon sheet from ebay and cut them out, could do some for you no bother. I still have to do a carbon suround for the bottom two gauges and the secs monitor if it is going to work.

Phoned CR turbos and they are sending me out a fitting for the oil feed, its different because of the roller bearing core needs a flow restictor.
Turbo is on and piped up
Started to make a quick carboard template for a sheild to box in the filter.

Euan im using the original boss on my downpipe for my EGT sensor as on the T38 the lambda probe was in the tubo housing, so now need a bose in the downpipe for the lambda.
Apart from the oil feed fitting it will all bo on and ready to go tomorrow morning, i know its going to be loud with the cone but it will just go with all the other noises my car makes

no waiting til 4k for full boost
looking at my old boost graphs I have 1.7 bar at 3k which is pretty impressive, even if I do say so myself!
No reason Neils shouldnt be the same.

I think my T38 is sold Paul but if it falls through i will give you a shout.
Got my downpipe back so will get that fitted today then its all ready for when the oil fitting arrives. Will do a few miles with next to no boost to bed the turbo in then drop it off for mapping. Just ordered oil and filter from R&B ready

Know what you mean mate but would rather run it at low boost for a few miles rather than bolt on and set it at 2 bar just to check for leaks and problems. Its all bolted back in now so as soon as the fitting arrives its good to go, also sorted a proper template for the heat sheild so will get that cut and bent tomorrow night.
