Your Car
Hi fella,
Have to say the pics of the car look stunning and that its a credit to you.
Look at the interior pic of the car i can see that you have fitted the secs monitor in the ash tray slot. Also noticed that you have a different clock, please could you explain what you have done as i would like to do something similar to my cossie.
Regards
Gareth

I got my SECS monitor second hand and it came with saff mounting so made a carbon suround out of an old splitter i had lying around, also removed the clock and put an AFR gauge in the space also on a carbon suround. Think im going to re do my dash and move the secs monitor up next to the afr gauge as its hard to see in the ashtray position.

No Jon its normal it isnt the 909 sport box,on the build reciept i have for the box its down as 909 gears . The teeth are semi straightcut and slightly larger than standard, took all my old engine could throw at it without problems. I will wait and see what power this engine makes, but think i will be selling this box and fitting a mullit box later this year.

SECS INFO
Well mate all i can say is your car looks and sound the dogs, very jealous. Thought mine was special but yours is in a different league.
You mentioned that you built the secs monitor yourself, but are thinking of placing it somewhere different. If this is the case would you be prepared to sell your old housing as for me this is where i would fit mine due to ice being in my 2 din slots.

Grill
Hi all, not 1005 sure but the grill from the xr3i from a 92 J To a 93 K should fit the car and leaves out the ford oval.
Please dont hold me to this, but remember as a younger lad that one of the car mags mentioned it.

Just cleaned and painted up my new mullet spec rear diff ready to fit , will be getting fitted with a R&B uprated hanger.
Also some pics of my thickwalled plated front diff thats being fitted.
So hopefully these along with my semi straightcut box should make a reliable transmission set up, i plan to go for a mullet box start of nextyear anyway. Only problem with the shiny diff is it will make me want to bufty the rest of the underside
