NEIL A love the wheels on yours is the car standard ride hight or has it been lowered I have some -35mm eibachs to go on mine and i would love to be able to put 9 x 18 on it do you think this would work? with lower profile tyres possibly 35 series.

Mapping is now on hold as things went better than planned and we have maxed out the uprated intank pump (may be slightly worn) 
Running 1.5 bar it made 350bhp at 5000rpm the wheels but over those revs it started to go slightly lean as the pump couldnt keep up. Did see 380atw at 6000 rpm but was getting too lean, so now its a rethink on the fueling system. Looks like we will be using the intank pump to fill a swirlpot then two external pumps to the rail.

Ive managed to get a swirl pot and fuel pumps off of Gatecrasher that is breaking his car, so hopefully these should be fitted next week then mapping can start again. My turbo has also been removed and had a bit more porting to the wategate port to help stop the wastegate creap as it wouldnt hold below 1.5 bar higher up the revs.

Im not sure Scott hopefully they will get the new fuel bits fitted this week then get back on with the mapping. Im away for another 2 weeks so no real rush, Alan said the mapping was going well before the fuel problems so it might be done for me getting home.

the guy that done the work has had it back again,and yet again my mechanic is not prepared to put together and fit as another 4 of the guides have been terribly fitted and ripping the vss
ive had enough so got alan to put it into balyntre precision for inspection and anything it needs doing done
just want the f@kn thing back on the road,was coming back from ava in the 328i,and some scooby was trying it on,the bm is ok but it doesnt throw you into the seat like the cossie so i passed on the invitation to a carry on

thats the 1 euan,dont know where i got blantyre from lol
cheers neil will keep in mind mate,think its a 45o end and length of braided needed and a union for seperator,il check,but my guy wants to wait until head is back on and built up to determine length needed etc

They are only place in Scotland that Alan trusts and he has tried almost everywhere else.
I personally know one of the guys that works there and can vouch for their work!
They have done all the maching work on my engine including the oil squirts, one off liner, removing the wire ring etc.

No more news yet the pumps arrived at the weekend but ava were shut on Monday so pumps may be fitted by now. They were also going to run new wiring to a relay then split it from there to the 3 pumps, think Euan is through there today so might get an update later.
