nice, get some 90 spec (orion) bumpers on there, if you can find a set in good nick cos they look so much better, i'm sure you already know escort stuff is a straight swap from the back seats forward. i had mine lowered -40mm, spax adjustables with front and rear strut braces and it used to handle on rails
i was 18 when i had mine so i build it for other things rather than pay a mint for the insurance on somthing quick.
looks really clean too
also, get some clear indicators on there, and colour coded mirrors.

It's a 1990 1.6 Ghia, but converted to a turbo, with an inlet manifold from a Fiesta RST, and T3 turbo from an Escort, and a one-piece exhaust from Power Engineering.
lowered 60mm all round on G-max springs, 16" mondeo alloys with lower profile tyres, so no rubbing

I don't mind the colour, it's not very common unlike white or red. Just get some clear's on it and some nice wheels, and I'm sure you'll begin to like it better

I wouldn't be the best person to answer buddy, I didn't do any of the work, that's how I bought the car a few months ago.
I've just got standard shocks on the now, with the lowering srpings and it handles really well imo
The turbo conversion aint 100% complete yet, but as far as I know it aint TOO difficult....I've got an Ofab ECU and Map Sensor from a FRST to get fitted yet, hopefully in the next month or two, then I can crank the boost up a bit.
