that was just an acceleration run...

I.E the car was not held at each rev point and the power recorded.

IMO for the power to be taken as accurate the revs need to held constant with the roller speed for a few seconds to eliminate wheels spin and let the figure stabilise.

i have never seen a power done as
"rapidcossie" states loaded!

every rolling road i have been to has done accelerations runs and record the power that way the only time i have seen the operator hold the car at certain rpm is when mapping a car!

i have to say out of the 5-6 places ive been to over the years, ive only ever had a run like that in the video done. will ask next time im down there about it

Ask how they can elimate wheels spin on accel runs?

If it wheel spins the power will be way higher than what it should be.

yeah i know, mates ibiza did that and got 20bhp or so extra.

ive got about 7 runs in total on the car from that day all over 420bhp, judging from the graph, there is no wheel spin to make 442bhp as its quite smooth

bit of both, it actualy handles fairly well considering. hopefully get some track anbd strip action in this year coming.

and yes i know it is a corsa, it doesnt take away from the fact i would prefer a ford. escort cossie one day i hope

looks mint dude! a mate of mine is building a corsa turbo for 500bhp + a little bit of gas, aiming for 750bhp per ton!

what sorta times you expecting with that down the 1/4 mile?
