That is correct, this is Mortens old car. He imported the car from Germany in 2003. One owner in Germany since new. I just bought it from Lasse last week and I have been smiling since I left his garage

Shorty: Sorry it was not me at Nurburgring at Easter. I wish it could have been me
Would be great driving around Nurburgring one time. I am not sure if I would use this car on the track. Try to keep it on track and not get aqny damages. It has never been repainted and I will do my best to keep it that way.
Mr.Ford: Could not agree more. Re moving the rear light was the first thing I did. Know it is running with original lights. I will also change the front window this Month and get it all original.
Redrsmk5: I like the colour a lot. Red colour needs some more waxing to keep it right but that is just one of the pleasure by having Escos.

Very nice
Not sure about the back lights though...
Are the dials standard as they go up to 300kmh...thats about 186mph, they only go up to 170mph here

300 km/h is only "standard" (selectable) for Wolf edition Cosworths. In addition boost dial is up to 2 bar also Wolf dial.

Wolf is the tuning company for Ford in Koln. They are always tuning the latest version form Ford, therefore it can be difficult to get old tuning equipment. As of what I know this car has got:
Bilstein lowering Bumper and Spring
Wolf Floor
Wolf chip (been replaced)
Yellow Nossels
18" Wolf Wheel
Carbon buckstay front+rear
Wolf Oilcover
Extra spoiler on lower rearspoiler
Extra catkiller in front
Wolf instrument/dial
Wolf exhaust
Licensed for 220 KW

Here I am to help you Paul Ripley and to make disappear any doubt.
Sometimes the cars have different specs depending on the country that is commercialized.
And this is the case with the Escort cosworth. The units commercialized in Europe had some different options than in UK.
The steering wheel is the standard one and the seats are standard too.
The cars made in Germany came with sport seats but not recaro. Recaro was an option for the earlier models. And the steering wheel is the one came also with the earlier models those came without airbag.
About the leather, was an option too. So you could choose Recaro or standard seats, both of them in leather or with the standard fabric.
I have a 94´ Escort Cosworth brochure. I will try to find it and put some pics for you to see what I have explained.
Thats all mate. I hope to made up your mind.
And the car looks fantastic
