A11XRT - Fiesta XR2 Turbo
This is a rare regency red xr2. originally F reg. 1 of 25 made in this colour, god knows how many are left.
the car was built by Andy Warren who used it as a track car and holds the record (as far as anyone on xrtwo.com knows) for fastest 1/4 mile in a street legal mk2 fiesta (there is a v8 funny car out there no idea how fast!)
had a bit of bad luck blowing the head gasket and damaging the head. i *think* this could be because i opened the bleed valve right up thinking i was closing it
now has a bailey twin piston dump valve, i admit i absolutely love the sound! the FRST bumper is on at the moment. kit needs replacing on the back end.
The bonnet is rear opening using peugeot 106 hinges.

i have a grey g reg mk 2, in april at the pod i got 2*14.0's and 2*14.1's @101mph, thats with all my tools and steario. if it woz hotter i think its capable of 13.7 wiv better grip, it woz rollin roaded 2 days before @ 165 bhp at wheels, its a 1.8 cvh wiv t25 and a blow throu carb i also had it wiegh'd at 1020kg's with me in it, 940 wiv out me.
also ive seen a bloke in a black mk 2 get a 13.8 @ 108 mph at the pod in aug 02 runnin a 1.8 zvh. all good stuff

i werent dissin,
its life, and i bet theres more rapid mk2 like ours,
i did my head like yours between 3+4, had it welded and skimmed and its been fine since.

Digital- Aye, his cars fuckin fast mate, i was there with him when he got the 14.0s and 14.1s (racing, and beating me in the 3door Cossie some of the times!), normal tyres, tons of stuff in the car, jus DIY engine to his own spec, and is fuckin fast
Danny, hurry n get the "other" fiesta ready to go, should be one of the fastest cossies in the UK! You get the engine done by that company you text me about in the end or?

i have also spoke to s bennet about his old r+d rebuilt.

my cossie is a mk3 fiesta 4*4, woz cover car on fast ford oct01, i got it in may 02, and melted a plug on a top speed run on way home, since been fanny in about on spec, but now got the dolla to get it to 500bhp spec, just need a few major parts, and to let go of my well owned cash.

Nope smit, imperial blue one, not quite as wide arches as the lighter blue one, so it sitill looks like a fiesta. Had chrome 6spokes on it when on cover of fast ford.
Danny- Yup, goin up to jap thing at the pod on sun, Pauls sold his 200SX to another mate, and were all goin up in that. Ive already started taking the R32 to bits, i want 700odd bhp, mid 10s down the strip.
