This is a rare regency red xr2. originally F reg. 1 of 25 made in this colour, god knows how many are left.
the car was built by Andy Warren who used it as a track car and holds the record (as far as anyone on xrtwo.com knows) for fastest 1/4 mile in a street legal mk2 fiesta (there is a v8 funny car out there no idea how fast!)
had a bit of bad luck blowing the head gasket and damaging the head. i *think* this could be because i opened the bleed valve right up thinking i was closing it
now has a bailey twin piston dump valve, i admit i absolutely love the sound! the FRST bumper is on at the moment. kit needs replacing on the back end.
The bonnet is rear opening using peugeot 106 hinges.
