My Mk4 Escort Popular
Seeing as it was sunny the other day, and i had just given it a quick clean and even quicker polish, it seemed rude to not take some photos.
These might be the last photos of the car looking standard. Ignore the front bumper and number plate (and the sticker on the rear window, twas a joke by some 'mates' lol).

i am think the sleeper or track car route.
First off i want to sort out handling and stance, lowering it and stripping out the interior. Then i want to sort out the brakes. Keep it like that for a while enjoying the summer and country back roads. then if i am still happy with it an engine conversion of some kind.

Look clean, get some second hand shocks and springs, back box and set of s2 rims (possibly spray them black) and if poss pick up a set of front recaros and an xr3i interior.
I would think costs would be
rims - 100 - 150 notes - bout 20 quid to prime and sprey them yourself
back box - 50 notes
2nd hand shocks and spring s 100
interior mixed of S2 recaro's and xr3i back seats and door cards 200 quid.
Would looks smart.
Make sure your front cross member isn't bent, bottom beam across the front of the car behind the bumper
