Ah all looking nice see there’s a fair few of them with turbo engines in them

What they like on the road? What’s the deal with the engines going in? Do you need different engine mounts ect? Do you use the turbo box?

There’s ONLY 1 xr2 that i have seen on the road around my area wouldn’t mind one myself with a turbo engine under the hood

Only need to get the engine mount modified if your dropping in the zetec engine. The XR2's handle pretty well with the right modifications

Most owners cut the front panel to make the turbo fit behind the rad and to fit the fan in front of the rad. This don't look good and the car will not be so stiff after that.

I'd prefer a FRST manifold and a T2 turbo. This is enough for about 200 hp with the 1.6. Would be a quick engine with a small turbo hole. And more than 200 hp won't be fun to drive in that car...

Dont forget you have to take a bit out of the cross member so you have clearance from the downpipe.

S2 loom will need splicing with the XR2 loom as well
