Not Luton mate, Colchester - home of the AIRBORNE FORCES! (sorry had to get that in) Just used Recoprop in Luton for the driveshaft mod 'cos they were recomended by CTS and a damn fine job they do too!

Cheers once again for the kind words!! I am really amazed how much interest there has been in my little old project!

Hopefully I have helped pave the way for more people to do something similar, what with there being more crashed/broken st170's lying around.

Like I said before please feel free to ask if you need more in depth info on this conversion, my email is: Jimmyesh@fsmail.net.

top work!

Must just have "good eyes" I suppose mate lol! Seriously, the whole running gear was dummy-fitted including driveshafts to get everything in alignment then the engine/trans mount bracketry tack-welded in.

Wiring was a bit of an epic, I bought a Ford TIS CD from Ebay then set about the ST loom removing all the "toys" I didn't need, it took ages with over 1000 connector view pictures and loads of wiring diagrams

i saw this in last months mag...

very impressed and the little touches inside the car make it amazin..

i am looking at the powerworks medium boost kit when i have enough money as well mate.. that adds about another 90/100bhp and you dont have to change much so its just the kit, fitting it and dreamscience type thing

i was going to let torque of the devil do it with chris todd and kesters but i went to ric wood over the weekend to have a chat and rollin road with the rs owners club and hes done loads and local aswell...

ace car though mate

CheeRS mate! Yeah the 'Charger is definetly the way ahead! I SERIOUSLY need more power after my 15 sec 1/4 at the Classic Ford show! Still the car isn't stripped out and the time isn't too shabby for the relatively modest power

I was gonna do all the fitting of the charger myself then tow the car to Chris and Kester @ Torque of the devil for it to be mapped.... Just need to lay my hands on a spare £3k or so!!!

Well, semi-decent i suppose cheeRS mate! Snotty cow in the office wouldn't let me use that wrist band you gave me so I had to fork out anyway! Was SO worth it though!

I need to get some adjustable lower arms sorted to sort my dodgy front camber out, then I either need to put the Manj on a SERIOUS diet and/or get it supercharged, it HAS to be in the 13's by next year!!!

As per title, I've owned this car a few years now and love it to bits-especially in its current guise! but....

After 6 mk3 fiestas since 1997 I really want to get my hands on a mk1/2 escort as I've always dreamt of owning a nice mexico replica

My fez is on ebay and pistonhead

http://pistonheads.com/sales/193774.htm
You never know, the money I get for the car may even buy me one mexico wing!

Here it is, the NEW ebay link! I created a new listing that comes up in more appropriate searches than the last one

It had 49 watchers but I guess there's just not loads of people out there with a wad of cash to throw at an old fiesta!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fiesta-ST-Fies...QQcmdZViewItem

If it doesn't sell, I'll just take it to FordFair and see what hapens

CheeRS for the compliments!

Yeah I don't do the "chucking my mastercard at my car thing" and I don't do debt full-stop, if I havent got the cash, I don't have it, simple as!

Better to get stuck in and get the job done yourself rather than pay someone to do it (in my humble opinion). Then you have more money for living life itself

Almost at the reserve now, only £451 to go!! (£3500 reserve)

1 day left and reserve met, looks like I'll be saying goodbye to the "Manj" soon!

Just need to keep my eyes open for a clean mk1 or 2 escort which the owner isn't trying to sell for the same price as the Maldives!!

Here we are again!! Winning bidder contacted me 1 hour before the end of the auction to let me know that his loan application had been declined and he could therefore no longer buy the car!

I have set the reserve at £3.5k which is the absolute lowest I would take for this great little car

Thanks for looking, Jim.

As per title, the car finishes tonight at 2230hrs, I'm not really happy letting it go as cheaply as it is but now that I have my MK1 Escort, I just need to sell my pride and joy ASAP!

Reserve is met at £3200 so someone is getting a bargain of a car - All the perks, good road manners and reliability of a 2004-model-year Focus ST170 but with more snappy performance in a 900-odd KG RS1800 Fiesta
