Lovely looking car Doh,

Do you have any pics of the driver's side header up close ?

I'm sticking a 5.0 in my 5 door and clearance looks really tight near the steering column

Have you taken it up the 1/4 mile?

Cheers

Mark

hi mark

yeah the header is actually a 4-2-1 and it actually goes either side of the column, its not great tbh.. i need to do some work on the engine mounts as i'm not happy with the engine position., i plan to get a custom set of headers made as i can't see any off the shelf ones clearing unfortunately, also the header im running are full of pigeon shit and i think there sapping power. it made 300.1bhp on the rollers, it has been on the pod, but was only running 7 cylinders as i'd funked up the roller rocker adjustment on cylinder 1 it ran 13.99 @ 105mph IIRC

whats the spec on your motor? i would like to do a 347 on my bottom end.. just gotta sort out all the niggles first!

Thanks for getting back to me,
I'm going to be using a 1988 roller cam thunderbird block with Scat 9000 series 3 1/4" stroker crank, scat forged steel 5.4" rods, Icon forged pistons, Edelbrock performer rpm heads with 1.9 intake and 1.6 exhaust valves, Edelbrock performer rpm2 intake, Emerald management. Cam undecided at the moment.
