Default Some updates on my Mini LOL

If your interested....

bored so thought id put some up

started off like this... 2 years ago

Needed some welding in a few places, So just had new inner and outta sills both sides,New A-Panel, New rear Valence

shells pretty solid now , Just needs a few 'minor' bits to be sorted, then off for a re-spray in a few weeks and will be done by me (my job btw )

Had these brakes on the front... , May only be a 998cc mini but these are fucking shit!

So I bought these...

And fitted...

Needed Allys to clear the new calipers, So as the Steels wasnt up to this I bought these

10x5 Minilites...

Wrapped in... Yoko's

and this is how it sits now!

the brown shit you can see on the sills on the front is a wax, Not dirt Not that its clean anyway LOL

Future Mods are..

- Cage
- Arches ( in the next week!)
- Fibreglass front end
- More suspension
- Re-spray (Inside and out!)
- Seats

and in the new year hopefully an engine change

Cheers for looking!

Too heavy for what? Weight distribution?

Guess you have never been in a well set up mini with one fitted then?

Makes surprisingly little difference to how they handle.

Which is weird, theory dictates it should be much worse, in reality though they arent

still cheap and easy to get hold of
lots of tunning potential
allspeed and watsons ? make the conversion kit and you can DIT it
been done lots before

when comparing it to the b16 vtec you can get the gearing spot on i belive with th vaux F16 box and 13" wheels

i belive the issue with the v tec is you have to run 14" min to get the gearing right

im sure chip will correct any errors
