Hafsengen is building it, hence the WRC Escort parked next to it...
This is an ex rallycross car. The car is finished, just waiting for the Jenspeed engine. He's very, very busy, but apparantly it should make it to Gatebil, Rudskogen in July. The owner of the car is Leif Nilsen, mr. Gatebil himself...

i think they refer to the fact that a wrc runs around 350bhp by the rules but rallycross tend to run around 650 700bhp. you are right in what you say but if in their classes the rallycross eat wrc in power stakes but if these are on the road theres no holds barrred.

Anyone here now's if stian has ever used his escort on the public road??
Stian's has still the best road legal escort cosworth in the world.
But leif's escort will be a pure racecar/track beast.

Bye stian's wrc escort if he can find any traction and can keep it on the road.
This engine will be good for 900 hp or more and it's still 1996 cc engine not a stroked one.

i read on a norwegian forum about a guy that had talked to jensspeed about the engine, and jenssped said that if they tuned the ignition 1 more degree, they would break the 900bhp-barrier.
hell, i would be satisfied with half that power.....
will be cool to se it live this weekend
