My 23 photo's from Lightwater Valley *extra 14 now added*
(Copied from my thread on fiestaturbo.com. All images taken on my phone, but I do have them all in 1632x1224 if anyone wants any in particular.)
Today was magical. The drive from Lancashire up to Ripon in Yorkshire was longer than expected (I got lost, as usual!) but led me down some truly inspiring roads, miles from policemen and their fun devices. I got the chance to really open the car up and have all-out fun, and it overshadowed the RS show comfortable!
Spent about two and a half hours there, and since I wasn't allowed to park on the show field itself..parked up in the theme park car park, looked at all the cars and took off...down another even more amazing road I stumbled upon! Cue much fun with the bikers (and a couple of crashes along the way) and a thorough thrashing of the Fiesta..safe to say I know where all its limits lie again
It hadn't been properly washed since December, so when I finally got it home I gave it a half-decent wash and FINALLY hoovered the interior! It was driving me nuts! Anyway...my pics...
When I got lost the first time...I ended up behind this car! Red Mk3, registration L478 (mine's L474)
Since I was in the middle of nowhere I got out to look at my map and stretch my legs, so took some random pics:
Dirtyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Some pics from the show:
No idea about the spec of this red Fiesta :s
Very very clean RS1800:
Tight!
Tubular Goodeness
One for Oranoco. There was an XR4i NOO as well!! That's three of you!
Loving the Rouse Sport :aviator: Very tidy indeed:
This caught my eye. Very low, cream leather interior..nice to see it amongst the rest
Same goes for this:
And my car when I'd just got home. FILTH:
And scrubbed up at long last!!
Then tucked away for at least a month
It's getting more and more chipped etc every time I take it out, but it's hard to care when it's so much fun. I will sort it all out eventually!!!
Second batch of photo's added for the whingers!
Only one 3dr photo though I'm afraid I'd had to go to the show on my own and got bored after two and a half hours. Stretched the day out as much as I could, but learned never to go to a show alone!
The toilets. (Oh, and a mint S1 :
Another of the 302-R:
And a photo of the only sign I could find that Ian's given up on the Concours circuit. Grass on his tyre/arch!

Ahhh I assumed it was a YB in that Transit...the bodywork suggested it, I assumed, and I wrote all that while I was half asleep
I took many more pics than I've posted...will resize and host some more now, including a scandalous one of Ian3dr's!
