its not the speed that causes accidents its the situations that the speeds are done in. if it was a mega busy road then i wouldnt be impressed but it was a straight relitively empty road, no prob whatsoever. but to be honest if we went down the pointless argument road re speeding we'd be here for ever.
i think the point of post was so everyone can laugh at the fact a nova can keep up with a civic type r that everyone seems to rave about.....christ they are commen lol

big_wig_074 You may well be aware of the dangers. What about the innocent person you smash into, who's driving within the limit? As for you veiws on my sig, Football is a game and that's what it means Arsenal beating other teams in the league! If you read anything else into it, then i suppose that's just the way a bloke who thinks it's fine to do 122 mph on the public roads, mind works.
Think i've said enough on this matter, like petermintrst said this argument will just go round and round. I just hope you never have to find out what it's like, when you've caused some serious injury cos you thought it was FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

i'd love someone to manufactuer speed limiters for cars and set them at 80mph, the extra 10mph ove the limit for overtaking, and anyone who preaches about speeding and is against speeding would chose to fit one to their car. as an incentive the drivers who chose to fit one would get say a 10% reduction on insurance.
i speed and wouldnt fit one.
i could also guarentee that a very small percentage of limiters sold would be to rs or other performance vehicle owners.

petermintrst I would be lying if i said i didn't like to go fast otherwise i wouldn't have an RS! However i never speed on the road, as most of the time i have my baby daughter in the car with me. I save the speeding for the trackdays where it's legal and safer!

im sure you wouldnt go fast with a baby in the back, that would be silly. but, if when there is a road as full/empty as the one on the clip and you boot it to get the buzz from the power, do u take your foot of b4 you hit 100ish? and if a mr type r driver has a go, would you try and show him up, especially if he was a bit of a co*k. if u do accelarate then stop b4 90/100 ish then u are very disaplined and if they were available would have no problem fitting a speed limiter to your car, at that point many people would be willing to take a telling off re speeding from u. but it is difficult for many of us to comprehend any rs driver never speeding.
i've read over what i've put and i think its making sense. i love getting on my high horse and telling people off for speeding if given the chance, but if i sit back and think.....'sh*t i did exactly the same thing xxx days ago etc'

I would have to say i never speed and never get pulled into road racing, i like my licence to much and i need it clean for my job. Being an HGV driver i've seen some pretty shit driving and some very bad accidents!
However i love motorsports and love to go fast so save it for my track days and i also race rotax max karts. So don't really need to drive like a c**t on the roads!

i know full well i need to grow up and get real!. if i get caught one time over 100 and thats it, i know what is wrong/not wrong but still sometimes do it.
all i can say is i never risk other peoples cars/lives.

Remember that post "how quick are civic type-r's" and everyone slated them saying they are piss poor and slow in a straight line.
Well does that mean a nova valver thats stripped out is fooking shit slow also , think about it i think a bog standard production car with full interior and a 2.0 non turbo motor that can hold of a striped out nova valver is hardly shit slow
I know i owned a nova valver and now own a integra type-e and if the road was longer the ctr would have pulled a big gap as they are quicker top end
Nice shooting though
