Well spotted !!!

I've only had the car a week and the previous owner had it fitted at his local Ford dealer the day before I bought it !!!!

The car is mint and completly standard apart from the 6006 ICE

It's joined a Ford Puma and a Yam R1

I have had Dub's before and decided with us already having the Puma to keep it a Ford family. So my mk2 GTI had to go !!!!

I haven't got one of the puma, but it's a standard 1.7 in med steel blue. It's got a cracking engine, it seems to rev for britain !!!

It has definately been a cherished car.

I think it must have been sat around the compound for a while before it was sold on the 'R' plate.

I believe that RS2K's on 'R'plates are very rare, especially a 4x4.

Hopefully i'll be attending a few shows this year. I've attended lots of Dub events with my mk2 GTI but never any Ford ones.

I didn't think they did 'R' plates either.

It must have been sat around in the compound for a while.

The chassis matches up with Ford confirming that it was built in 1996. It just wasn't sold or registered til 1997.

It's a good job it's in Tourmallard Green and not somethin like Moondust or Radiant otherwise people might think it's a GTI badged up !!!! LOL

I've been advised that there are only a very small number ( single figure's ) of RS2K's on 'R' plates. Although they're probably all 2wd's
