Had the 2.0 conversion done in February. Goes alot better now

Yeah the engine is form a mondeo
No mods to it at the moment
Needs a few bits like a fog light replacing and a jacking point cover but does the job and embarrases cars that cost alot more than mine did

the missus has one of these and have always wanted to 2 litre it.
whats involved? engine, gearbox, management etc? did you do the work yourself, or get someone else 2 do it?

A local mechanic did it in a day
Theres loads of information about the conversion over on fiestaturbo.com in the guides section. I basically got what i could from there and left him with a list of what to do and got it back before the end of the day so not too difficult if youve got the right parts and tools
Thinking of selling mine as just bought a house so why not buy one already done

its slightly different in a xr2i because of the looms and ECU

depends of your xr2i is a 16v or a 8v if its 16 its a straight swap but it runs exturnal edis so u need to change that to inturnal or find a exturnal edis ecu , if its 8v the u need a diffrent loom mod the engine mont and just use the 2i box with a si clutch and flywheel
