Default Which sub forum to sell a number plate in?

Plate in question is "L2OUD"

So not really specifically a cosworth or RST part etc, but at the same time it does apply to those cars.

So am I allowed to copy an advert to those forums and the non ford parts for sale etc, or is that not allowed?

I dont sell parts on here very often so not really familiar with that part of the rules.

I found the best place to get rid of no plates is ebay and i tried with several of the big companies only to be told we can get you loads for you plate only to find a year or so later you still have the damn thing.

Ebay and its gone in 10 days.

Thanks for the tip.

Yeah I wasnt going to bother with any of the companies, thought Id try on here first and then onto ebay if it didnt sell here, as ebay tends to have a higher percentage of tossers than here so would sooner sell it here if I can.

Pain trying to put a value on it though, which I guess at least with ebay you dont have to as others will decide the value, and I could just put a reserve of a 1200 or something on as thats roughly what Id want for it.

Was that plate ever on a yellow Mk3 astra GSi?

As the gay bloke above says, stick it on ebay and/or pistonheads and it'll be gone in a week.

You could try my mate Matt HERE but he probably won't give you what you want for it!

Not that I know of mate.
I had it on my prelude in about 2000 or so, then on rentention for ages and now its on my calibra tow car just so I dont have to pay the annual fee to retain it, but I want to put the plate C19LLY on the cally instead and not got anything else suitable for putting the L2OUD plate on really as would look a bit stupid on my daily driver as it silently creeps past with the tyres making more noise than the exhaust

Not registered on pistonheads but thats a good idea, thanks!

I've sold a few sporty/odd bits on there over the last couple of years and you get a surprisingly lower percentage of tossers enquiring. It might be because it's a genuine car enthusiasts site? The people seem to be marginally more normal than the usual ebay/autotrader "click to basket" numpties. I hope it stays that way!

Plus it's the birthplace of the fastest car in the world ever in the whole world. It's also the reason why all 335 Diesels are now pretty much unsellable unless they're mapped.
