I clearly put that it was not a for sale or wanted add. I clearly put i wanted valuation and part identification yet the thread has dissappeared.

Can i have an explanation???

Is trying to get help on FORD parts i dont know the value/identity of now against the rules???

they could have fucking PM'd me to change the wording if there was a problem.

Had it done to me a few times,was told by one mod that it was a "thinly veiled effort to put an ad up".when this was questioned by the fact that I'd not put up a number or contact details I was told "people could contact you via pm".what?try the for sale and wanted section,it maybe there,although if you mentioned that you'd got the parts from some vehicle that you've broken or obtained the parts directly to sell them then certain mods take SEVERE umbridge with that,something to do with trade rates!!!!

my friend has loads of parts that need identifying and valuing Im not knowledgeable on older fords in any way.

So i thought posting on a FORD enthusaist site would be the rational thing to do

maybe i should have posted on total vauxhall or passionbmw.com or similar???

There is NO Forum Tax, nor is there any moderation on For Sale threads, unless of course you are a trader in which case you are fooked off sharpish.

But genuine people wanting answers to questions are always accommodated.

And we'll probably buy your stuff too so double whammy.

That will be one of the reasons it has been moved, you cant sell for friends on your gold membership.

Not for friends you cant, and whats it worth threads do get moved.

That thread for Anglia parts would have just encouraged any members on here who needed those parts to PM you for them.

Thats why all those kinds of posts get removed so as it stays fair to all.

 

See so many threads where people have a clearout and find loads of spares, don't mention selling or valuation but sure they must get PM's for parts etc.

Warren if you never put up the disclaimer and made an attention whore thread about the parts that turned up in your mates garage it probabaly would of slipped the net, but that's you having to be backhanded when already a paid up gold memeber like you say! bit of a wavy line with all this trading.

 

Didnt the ruling used to be that you can advertise on behalf of a friend who is not a PF user PERIOD?

Has this now changed?

 

Rules were changed so that you can now NOT advertise for either non gold members or non members of the site.
