I dont really see how he can get fair treatment from the mods, when Mike so clearly hates his guts and lets it influence his decisions.

Ultimately though, bugger all to do with anyone except Stu/IB I guess, its up to them who they want on here, fair or not.

New owners, new board (or whatever happened last night) etc, give the bloke a chance.
He's fucked about etc, this is in revenge (if indeed it was him).
Allowed back on, with a fresh start, might work out ok, and might be a benefit to the site.
Be no need for the hacking if let back on (if indeed it was him).
Lets face it, if you were to hack the site, and want to make it look like it was him, would have behaved exactly how he has (if indeed it has been him).
Benefit of the doubt, give it a go.

IMO, Mike is totally professional when it comes to this situation. He doesn't hate Simon - much like myself, he pities him more than anything.

His current bans would seem to be for multiple usernames, irrespective of his hacking of the site.

This place is far better off without him - no amount of technical knowledge and contribution will make up for the number of members he has personally ripped off, the small businesses that he has jeopardized, and the frustration he has caused members of this site.

How he was not banned sooner is more the surprise. As for his technical knowledge, he has AFF and Stu's forum, so what's the issue?

No, its FAR simpler than that, I just dont actually care what has happened between him a few people from here business wise, the main interaction simon has with 99% of the people on this site is just to be very very useful with providing first class info.
I think that his shocking business dealings are probably a good reason for him not to be a trader on here, fair enough, I dont see that should be something to stop him talking socially or giving expert technical advice though.

If you really believe that, you don't know me very well . I cannot in anyway influence what the other mods think, and if they all voted to have him back, there is nothing I could or would want to do about it.

Unfortunately, whether you want to believe it or not, ALL the circumstantial evidence points to one person and ONLY one person and due to the hassle caused by Simon, the JOINT decision has been to exclude him permanently from the board.

I actually agree that Simon has a lot to give, but his compulsive lieing and the vindictive actions against this forum has meant that he has caused more trouble than his contribution is worth.

You may argue that it isn't fair as we have no actual proof as such, but also you will know (as you were so kind to point out) that short of a criminal investigation, there is no way to actually ascertain with 100% certainty the true identity of the PF Hacker. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on who you are), the way that Simon has hacked the board and the way certain people have been picked on to be the focus of attention have made it all to easy to identify who the PF Hacker is. The absolutely only other explanation is that someone hates Simon more than anyone else on this board and has gone to great lengths to frame him - even to identifying every single individual who Simon has fallen out with (where some are not publically known), and causing havoc with their accounts.

I must admit that it amazes me even when Simon makes admissions of guilt (where it was often uncertain it was him and people stuck up for him saying that it was UNLIKELY to be him or not proven to be him), that then it is overlooked by these same people as if it didn't happen and want to give him even more chances .

Oh well C'est La Vi - there's nowt as queer as folk.

Anyone who has seen what a bitter twisted strange individual he has been over the years would obviously point at him, even if there was no named evidence pointing at him.

Indeed, its just a public forum, I see no reason to stop anyone using it really as I dont see that doing so really makes it any more fun for the rest of us unless its someone who is being massive abusive TBH and IMHO an average post of his is less likely to be bitching at someone than an average post of yours.


It doesnt strike me as particuarly likely its him mate no, I cant think of any reason he would want to delete the muppet room etc, I cant name anyone its more likely to be, but then I cant name anyone its more likely to be than you either, and I woudlnt ban you too just on the off chance.

 

I would be able to provide evidence to prove beyond any doubt that it wasn't me . I would also be straight on the phone to Stu to seek clarification etc (Simon never did any of these - it's as if he accepted the punishment like only a guilty person would - but then realised that he could manipulate stupid people into believing his innocence ).

But that's by the by, as I plain just wouldn't do it . For a start there is no-one on this board that I hold a grudge against, so even if someone wanted to frame me as being the hacker - who would they ban / delete accounts for, to convince everyone it was me ?

The only person who vaguely irritates me is you, and ONLY because sometimes you're so insightful, yet others you're either deliberately obtuse - or just plain stupid (I actually vote the former ) . And if you worried me THAT much, according to Simon - being the power hungry person that I am - I could ban you at will and no-one would be any the wiser that it was me . However, that's not my style - I would much rather discuss it - even if we agree to disagree and you continue to irritate with your "never wrong" attitude .

Regarding Adrian's second user name, this was inflicted upon him by Simon, as Simon deleted all the mods passwords / email addresses again, so that they couldn't log in. Only the fact that Diva, Jay and NEO were ALREADY logged on to the forum at the time, stopped him from crashing the system, so they saw what was happening and shut him down before he could do any damage and reinstated all the passwords / emails this morning, so that I didn't even realise that something had happened last night until I was told this morning .
