Can anyone shed any light on the fact chip was unbanned on weds 5th during the early hours then rebanned come 9am now since the hacking he is unbanned.


Would like to clear it up,as why would a moderator bend the rules?

He obviously knows his stuff about nitrous as he advised on and maybe installed Rod Tarry's setup. That's not to be sniffed at and that info is a bonus to this site.

As far as im aware, me being banned was an administritive error, as I certainly had not done anything against the rules.

Given that my only motivation for pointing out the security flaw in the BB before was in order to STOP a maliscous hacker, its a shame you feel that it was a negative thing.

Sheady installed it, I just advised them on what to use.

Thats irrelevant to wether or not I should or shouldnt be banned from the forum though, there isnt a bit at the end of the rules saying "unless you know lots about nitrous" or "unless you supply cheap parts to the mods" or anything else, so the rules should be implemented regardless of those facts IMHO but thanks for the acknowledgement that I can make useful contributions on certain technical things relevant to this site.

This thread is about your issues with how the forum was run, someone said there was no issue, I pointed out that you DO clearly have "issues"

Ive not been on passionford during the period of hacking, so I cant comment on anything a hacker may or may not have done as I havent seen what happened.
I find it unlikely though that you will establish any truth about a "hacker" from throwing a tantrum in the wrong section of the forum about someone who isnt in anyway connected to committing the "offence" in question, certainly seems an unusual method of investigation to use in a case of computer access violation.
