My mate paid £20 on the 23 november for his goldmembership after i pestered him for months to join.He has emailed Petrucci numeruos times asking why his gold membership hasnt been activated as this was 2 weeks ago.WTF is going on with this site he thinks he has been well ripped off and i feel a bit to blame .Any suggestions anyone

the goldmembership is supposed to be fully automated..

you enter your username and it gets automatically sorted.

but..
if he has not got it yet then claim it back via paypal...

 

I think he paid by paypal

I became a gold member last month too, just before the sale was announced and Stu left.... cost me £20, i now come online tonight to find out that GD has disappeared, what next??

Contact pay pal and tell them you were conned . You didn't get what you paid for. I paid £10 recently too. Not too much of a hit i suppose . This place is a sinkin ship. www.anotherfordforum.com is the place me thinks. Don't think the yanks will get much value for their money out of this place!!!!!

 

I personally think a member of the Admin team (not the mods) should put a sticky in muppet room or wherever and let us GOLD members know what the fuck is going on...

Because i paid to subscribe me up to 2010,i will check amount but i am sure it was reduced to £10 a year and i paid in advance for 3 years.

I paid up for a couple of years too, 20 quid is a cheap lesson in life though, so cant be arsed trying to get the money back via paypal or anything.

I didnt pay for access to any room anyway, I just paid to ensure the site stayed lining Pet's pockets so he would keep hosting it basically, as it will be a shame if it dies off and if he gets no money why would he bother with it, well that what my thinking at the time before the "sale" talk.

If it gets taken over and my money lost, but the site carries on, I couldnt care less as keeping it going was all I wanted to do with my contribution anyway.
