Just a curious post more than anything, with bikes from the 80's/early 90s mainly 2strokes appreciating in value (RGV, NSR etc) what other bikes do you guys think will start to become colllectable and start to follow the same trend value wise?

916 and 748. srad750, zx7r, zxr750, first gsxr1000, 4xv r1, early blade, ect ect. anything that set the std in fact. 2 strokes are already making silly money. even the 1rk tzr, kr1/1s and vj21/22 are fetching 3k plus wheres a few years ago these were available for 1k upwards. it used to be the imported stuff like mc21/28 nsr's, vj23 rgv and v twin tzr's that were sought after. lc's and the like seemed to have peaked. the 500's and even the ns400r have been fetching strong money for quite some time aswell

Its hard to say but in my opinion future classics will be

98 r1 in red and white

ducati desmosedici rr
bmw hp4
2006 r1 sp
vfr 400

The thing is non of them will ever be an investment and at best they will maybe go up a few k over the next few years but in reality is a 98 r1 ever going to be worth 20k? I very much doubt it.

The only bikes that will ever increase massively are stuff like the ducati desmosedici rr which is mega money now anyway but I can see them increasing like the Honda nr has.
