Default First Bike

After passing my test a few weeks ago i'm now after a bike been looking at a few jap 600s got about £3000-3500 to spend i also like the look of the triumph daytona. will be mostly using it at the weekend and when we get a nice day mid week for an evening jaunt out with the boys
Anyone help me make my mind up

Id stick to one of the jap bikes mate. I liked the looked of the daytona and it is good value for money, but you cant beat the jap bikes for build quality and reliability in my opinion. Id go for a gixer 600, if you could stretch to a bit more, you could have my 55 plate 600 for £4000.

im guessing you're 40 odd mate? thats about the age where you're allowed to buy a triumph

get a nice jap 600 mate reliable as ever

Yeah, what the guys here have said.

A jap 600 does seem the best way for you to go, personally I would go for the Suzuki because of the bonkers high revving nature (although it will still pootle around and help grow confidence equally well)- and that it does not look different to the 750 or 1000.

Just echoeing the above. Jap 600 all day.

Just be careful, you can't gas them like 125's and not expect them to bite back. The lad I sold my bike to yesterday learnt that the hard way!
