Default bike tyre advice please

just bought an r6
it needs a pair of tyre's , just dont have a clue what to get now adays
i know one pearsons choice of tyre might not suit the next pearson
i ve been told to get the following
dunlop sportmax qualifier ( white arrow )
front 120/70/17 ( on at the moment 120/60/17 )
rear 180/55/17
they have gone up a size on the front because it helps the bike turn in better
thanks for the help

i had Bridgestone Battlax's before the Pirelli Diablo's, both great tyres but i had more confidence in the Diablo's, probably just down to personal preference/riding style tho.

2CT's without a doubt and ive used 3/4 different brand/models.

Also, I would recommend sticking to whatever the bike comes with as standard when it comes to size.

Put Diablos on my 748 and it totally transformed my bike...alot more confidence when pushing it hard, lost some mileage but gained in grip. Got them cheap of a mate of mine (Chris Gunster in Grimsby) which made the deal even better....Result.
