Hello guys,wander if you might be able to help,any reccomendations on what mix to run for a 96 kx 250,all rebuilt etc,fmf pipe,ive mixed as per handbook but seems to be very smokey???any ideas?

 

hi mate, i used to run my old two stroke at 50-1 (100 ml oil to 5 litres of fuel) but i think the proper mix is 40-1
my old girl did smoke abit to but better to much than to little

i dont need to worry bout that anymore as i run a kxf now

 

i have rmz450 get a 4 stroke much better

 

125ml to 5 litres is 25-1 which is good for a 2 stroke on running the piston in.
i use to run my yz at 20-1,20ml to each litre and it was fine.
to rich will kill your plug plus best to turn the fuel off when finished riding and run the fuel down so it cuts its self out.
50-1 is 50ml to each litre 250ml to 5 litres.
if i am wrong sorry but this is how i ran my 2 motox and never had any problem.

4 strokes are good but cost a fortune when they go wrong,plus to use it on moto x tracks most of them you need a que pipe due to noise.which is like an extra £300.
