Evening all.
My wife bought me for my birthday in March the above car in 1:18th scale.
Now the main company that she got it from have not got them in stock and was just wondering if anyone was in the know on here as to why there is such a delay as I am sure many people on here have placed an order, and are too wonder what is going on.

I get an e-mail every few weeks from them. I pre-ordered mine last year. I guess it will be ready when it's ready. Placed a pre-order for the Green RS they announced a couple of months ago now too.

 

Are these stil available to order? if so where form??? cheers

They have been delayed because the door handles were wrong, they were flush in the metal rather than stick out like on the real car! They had to send the prototype back to China to have the doors remade. New date is around July.

I spoke to a model seller at Castle Combe during Rally Day and he said that the RS 500 Focus is being totally shit canned.
I think I believe him and I am fumming as I was sooo looking forward to it and chuffed to bits my missus bought me something car related which is a Rare thing.

I think it will still be comming out.....pre-orders are huge and as they've produced the standard Focus RS, there's little more than a repaint needed for the RS500.

These manufacturers usually ditch models that require complete new tooling.....for example AutoArt have ditched the BTCC Volvo estate now for this very reason.

Not sure on the finish around the gearlever surround, (over spray from the carpet affect at the joint to the lower part of the dash in the last picture) but the rest is top quality
