Not sure wether people on here will be interested but ive just started building a 1/12 Ferrari 312T4, have just built a 1/24 scale Porsche 956C and wanted to have a go at one of these large scale models.

They are not exactly cheap ( i got mine for £60 on ebay which is a bargain) but the detail is amazing and will take many months to put together, including building the engine and ignition system lol with all the wires etc!

Anyway ive been on it for about 3 weeks and have done alot of the cockpit but still loads to do before i start on the engine so here are some pics.

I used to have a few of the 1/12 Tamiya F1 cars when I was a kid, my neighbour used to build them then give them to me, they are a cracking model, not built one myself for years, and wrecked all my old ones trying to use them as toys back then.

Cockpit nearly done and will start on engine soon.

Got more pictures of the kit? Would love to see more on the progress of this. Might even get my self one! Not built a model in years!
