i printed off that carbon today,
looks the nuts ,only problem is that i run out of ink doh!!! so half come out a weird colour, will get some more this week and get some sheets printed.

also got these done , 2 piece rim, the rim itself has a solid back with a large brake disk built in, will make it easy to mount. the second piece then just rests on top so all our 17" designs will fit straight in, these are standard and not a deep dish but the back will be great for custom design rims, we can always supply these separate for people to put there own centres in too.
the centre is a alpina just to show u example.

 

oohhh that does look good, the rim & tire looks a lot more realistic than the current 17" design too

good news on the carbon, was worried it was gonna be oversized or something!

 

the smaller of the 2 carbon is the 1 i will use, looks more to scale..

dunno if youve got a autoart car with carbon on it but if u do get a pic of it next to my pattern when u get some printed and ill try and match it up, autoart carbon is pretty spot on for scale

Ive been nitromors'ing my pickup and have almost finished the flatbed for the back ready for milliput.

 

As promised last night pics of my mk3 Escort project i started a few days ago.
Sitting nice on some ronal turbo's

Single bucket/harness,Focus rally pedals and gear shift and sparco steering wheel (still a few interior bits to do).

Now heres the part i fooked up,as i wanted to do something different i had the idea of drilling two holes where rear number plate was and have a pair of tailpipes exiting out but the drill bit snagged and spun the shell across floor ripping both doors off which i think will re-attach and ripping off the tailgate which broke the hinges

But on a better note i fitted a set of steel deep dish rims to my mk1 Escort

brought 2 new porsches panamera and a 997 gt3 face lift found the best place to buy porsche models (a porsche dealer)less than Ł60 for the pair both norevs

have started another mod grafted a ut 911 cabriolet back end on to a hot works turbo / gt 2 tunning model pics to follow

Cheers,the tailpipe idea seemed good at the time but as it went so wrong i thought is it worth the hassle,i was planning on routing the exhaust pipes through the floor.I may be able to tidy the holes up using a slower speed drill,but my problem is the tailgate hinges are broke so i can't attach it back on,the doors have a slight mark on them where they flew off,but only other option is get another model to use doors & tailgate.

this car belonged to humberside police fotce (they also were the first to equip with subaru imprezas in the uk car number 1 was rthe one modeled by autoart)

Well just put some more Milliput on my escort, bit on the bonnet for RS2000 style bulges (will need sanding and shaping), and filled in the standard Mk3 bonnet vent and bit more put on the kit.
Hopefully sand it down tomorrow
