My postie's been busy, delivered the EsCos on Friday and the RS1600i's today.



Both are missing bits of headlights tho

 

here's my estate with all its kit on, its just got to be sanded so its all smooth and a skim of filler over the roof, i wanted the roof to be all smooth so filled the sun roof in, ive fitted the bonnet vents on and ive shaped the s2 lights as well. ive also got the original rear window to fit perfectly as well

i've finally got my self a mk3 escort 1.6 gl project to get started on now, which i want to turn into a series 1 rs turbo, how do i remove the wheels to get at the 8 screws holding the chassis on?

 

was the rs1600i on ebay? ive got 1 coming.whats the plan for these??

 

its gettinjg there mate,are you goin to get some filler on the front bumper? i think the lines are to deep above the oval things.

 

The screws are under the center cap's. Flick them out with a small screw driver or knife.

 

the center caps pops out,then there a screw.
good look mate as its not a easy car to make,ive made three & the kit takes time to get right.
how do you plan to do the kit?are you goin for the engine aswel?

im stuck for ideas on what to do with it??????

how do i remove the wheels to get at the 8 screws holding the chassis on and how do i get the spare wheel out to do anything in the boot??????

 

oh right!! how do i pop the centre caps out??

Cheers mate, had the fish tank bout 7 / 8 years now, we r thinking of having a change tho and having 1 of thos round fronted 1s

 

same ere mate when i go to post it says something bout Internet not working properly then i have to write it all again

 

still lots of work got to be done to the front bumper yet mate, been to busy with getting the back right so havent really touched the front yet.

 

im now after 1 of these, dont like the red 1s cause dont like the decals on it, soon as i get mine im taking them tacky decals of the bottom. thats it tho love it how it is.

 

im finking of turning my wrecked mk3 pick up into a royal nail van but duno how to get it built up, could do with pjvanman's help, does anyone else know how to?????????????????????

 

now i've completely stripped the escort of everything from lights to bumpers, doors, bootlid and bonnet so looking good for a start on the bodykiy hopefully tomorrow.

how do i remove the front seats as the whole interior is stuck to the chassis??????

no i dont do the engine's lol yet

 

u can fit wider ones on by trimming down the supension just keep rubbing down until the wheels fit under the arches

plasticard mate,look at my mk2 van thread as it shows ive used the stuff,you can do it mate.

 

the thing with the base model is it has a diff engine,you should of tried to get a xr3 as they have a similer engine,same bumpers & spoiler.
you need diff engine for it or just by a cossie engine.

 

i wanted 1 of these to do a rep of the missus gti she ad,was goin to get tha red 1 on ebay but i didnt like the lights it has. ford rs mad has the blue 1.
